you need to work on your tenses and pay more attention to time frames.

You said Desiree lived and died in ancient Egypt, thus her daughter did also.

Yet you keep having her refer to the sultan, his wife, desiree's daughter, as if they are or even could be, still alive. Of course Desiree's daughter isn't still alive unless the guy genie transported her forward many centuries in time.

You perhaps meant to say desiree didn't know if her daughter had a good life, or how she'd lived, something like that.

"Paulina?" Danny said in shock as his mouth dropped.

Paulina shook her head in shock as she started floating. "Er... no, I'm not Paulina, I don't know who that is? No, I am... the lovely Ghostly Trista."

At least her alter ego's name was more than just changing her last name, looking at you Danny.

Dude I’m liking your fict so far, it’s gotta lot of heart to it and conflicting circumstances as well. Hope you keep writing this and if you need... I can give you some advice on how to proceed if your stuck? Though you seem to have this in the bag.

Great chapter. I like how you wrote Desiree and her companions in the past sounding almost like a modern clique of besties. It felt very much like the show.
Interesting. I guess we’re going to learn more about the past as time goes on. This should be interesting.
Wow. The Sultan’s wife is a real piece of work. She’s worse than Sam on one of her bad days. Sure, Sam would pick fights, whether or not she had a legitimate reason to, but at least she didn’t make open threats (especially considering they’re just doing their job in a legit manner).
