Wow, I'm rather impressed with this! I can totally see Draco going through these mental challenges. I love this line: "He appeared to be the spitting image of his father, which made him partly proud and partly sick. And I always did wonder if Draco was so proud of money and blood purity, why was he so clearly trying to impress a raggedy boy that looked like he could barely afford to eat or wear clothes that fit. This makes a lot of sense.

I can't wait to see where this goes. _

This is… good. Like, really, really good. With the title being from that one joke tumblr post, I wasn't expecting it to actually be incredibly well written, and well set out. And I love how you've written each character. I am most definitely hoping for more.

Yay! More Draco backstory! I love that you added some Draco/Dobby interactions. Draco just seems like the person who doesn't have the heart to hit a poor house elf. For a spoiled arsehole, he can be quite a softie. Muhaha. I love the idea of Draco and Dobby being really great friends; they can gush about Harry Potter's brilliance together haha. I hope Draco fulfills his promise to free Dobby!

I have a feeling that after Draco discovers the truth about the war, he may not think as highly of the Malfoy ideals as before... I wonder if this contributes to him "accidentally" saving Harry multiple times in your story. :O

I'm excited to read about Draco and Harry's first meeting. I mean, I know it didn't go very well in the books, but I'm intrigued to read it in Draco's POV! Keep up the great work!

The summary for this story totally reeled me in. Anything with Draco's POV throughout the series will automatically make me sit down and read it all.

You did a great job with Draco's characterization considering that this is your first Harry Potter story! Well done! I like how you gave us a little insight on what it feels like to be a Malfoy. There's so many things that people expect from Draco, so it was nice to see how he coped with that, and the envy he felt towards other children.

Yes, Dobby! Talking about tumblr post in the previous chap, there's one which says that Dobby must have heard about Harry's great story from Draco himself and I wonder if this will happen here. Dobby obviously can't read and no one is talking about the past... Hmmm.

Anyway, great start here. Draco comes across as really likeable in this first chapter. :) And yay for Drarry!

I like how you put the seed of doubt in his mind and had him keep up the act for his father, but be secretly interested in what Arthur was talking about. I hope you continue this story and your others as they're really good and well thought out, although I totally understand if you're just too busy.
