The length of the story doesn’t make it better. A short story can be as equally good as a five-star 300,000 worded novel.

The ending is especially admiring. It was a proper one. And I could envision it perfectly, all of them. Saluting as the sun goes down. Perfect. Definitely my favorite GATE fanfic.

I was... crying the whole time when i read it and still keep crying on it cause that kind of ending, i-i-is t-the most beatiful ending I've ever seen, well at on fanfiction as one-shot, of course. *crying, crying, crying, crying, crying, crying.* I'm okay, sorry for that. One of thing is that Tyuule's now receiving a punishment of her sin for what she did, for revenge, and for the people that died becuse of her. I would be glad if she'll finally fixing her mistakes and thinking about what to do next when if she's finally out of the prison, if that happen when the trial will be decide it. Thank you so much for making this amazing art cause now it'll be always be one of my favorite fanfiction that I read it now.

Great story...

Truly, deeply impressive. Fanfics of the Gate franchise tend to be remarkably hit or miss, favoring miss more than most, but this is a good short story. A simple premise and a big question. What to do when your time is up?

And you answer it well, in what is likely, perhaps can be, the only possible choice the likes of Itami and his assorted comrades and colleagues can make. I admit I'm not familiar with the manga or light novel, and can't speak for the validity of the idea, but the concept along holds great merit. The Gate finally closing, cutting off Japan and the Special Region, and finally bringing an end to things. Or so it first appears. I imagine tens of thousands of years from now, it'll pass into myth and legend the same way it has for countless other species already. But for now, it's enough that the team and their friends are settling into comfortably, happy lives. A happier ending you could not really depict, methinks.

And I'm pleased you bring up the mention of Tyuule, and how she's receiving punishment for what she did. Whether she did it out of misguided noble intentions or not, many people died because of her, and others suffered. It struck me as distinctly unfair (if perhaps realistic) she escaped any sort of comeuppance for her evil in the series. A lifetime in a human Japanese prison seems a just final fate for her. I too would've enjoyed reading about her trial, which could've easily been a story unto itself, with all the witnesses and revelations, but I can see also how it might get bogged down or annoying. Also, I mean, she confessed, so it wouldn't have held much weight anyway. Maybe you did the right thing skipping right past it to the sentence.

It is one of the most exciting ones I have read in the last few months. There is a good balance between character development, descriptions and plot development. The plot is without plot holes, but with enough tension and turns to keep you going, short though it is. The science exposition (little there was) is well founded and in the right quantity I would expect from a story described like this one. Thanks again and good luck going forward to future endeavors.

So, in your story a secret agent in disguise as an engineer in special region has been analyzing Falmart's parent star (sun) spectrogram ( constelation coordinates or STAR COORDINATES )AND THEY FOUND IT! since Japan won't allow EVERY SINGLE country to get through the gate. So they just want to get there the long way (by traveling through space)
