I love this! All the little episodes really help fill in the gaps in "Captain America: The First Avenger." I love seeing Steve, Peggy, Bucky, and the Howling Commandos doing heroic deeds and having so much fun at the same time. The scene with the pencils was especially cute, as was the scene where Steve lifted Peggy up to disarm the bomb (he really is the perfect gentleman, isn't he)?

As soon as Morita mentioned enemy I was starting to think "But doesn't Rogers look..." and you brought it up. Nicely done!

And wow, you have some great information and story telling relatives. Thank you for sharing some of their stories through these awesome fanfics.

When I came back to your profile to send my last PM, I realized that I haven't read this story of yours! So here I am. :)
Right off the bat, this is great. I love the chapter title (wonderful callback to Philips' line in CA:TFA), the characters are spot on, and being told from the Colonel's perspective gives it that little extra something. It helps that I absolutely adored Tommy Lee Jones in that role. :)
And "Faith. Oh, for Pete's sake. There were two of them."? That made me grin so wide! Steve and Peggy really are a matched set. _
Glad to be back to reading your stuff! And can't wait to see what you've got. :)

My vote for the poll(in order of priority) the endgame one ,black and white, then the sequel the cradle. I also want to say how exciting it is to see a new chapter for Within the Legacy i actually was rereading it last night but fell asleep in the middle of chapter 5 so when started to read again this morning i didn't even see there was a new chapter. Doesn't matter to me if you haven't updated in two years. It was a lovely chapter. Also, I just found your stories this past weekend and breezed through most of them. I especially love those set during the war. Don't get me wrong I love the movies, but I will always have a problem with them montaging WW2. Thanks for the afternoon distraction.

So, I live five minutes from Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia, one of the internment areas used briefly during the war. While the track is beautiful (you actually see it in the "Agent Carter" series), it's not a place to house anyone and it's heartbreaking to remember that. I have a friend whose family was there, briefly, before being shipped elsewhere. It's not as well remembered in these parts as some of the other larger camps were, even to those who grew up here (I didn't, but I'm a history nerd, so that's how I discovered it).

For some reason I've really wanted to watch Captain America: The First Avenger these past couple of days, but I've been swamped with finals and I don't have it with me at college anyway. I just finished my hardest exams today, and this was a WONDERFUL reward! Just perfect.
My heart is so soft. I love the way you get inside characters' heads. Bravo.

This is such a cute interaction between Steve and Peggy! It was very kind and sweet of Peggy to comfort Steve in his troubles with his ghosts. And the little scene with the dance music was adorable!
