The introduction to Mina and Lucy as they set up their domestic arrangement is enjoyable, with the kitten added as the catalyst for what will happen next.

Nuada and Wink skulking around the perimeter of Lucy and Mina's building while the prince investigates for the presence of 'old magic', feels ominous.

This is going to be a slow burn, isn't it? I don't mind that since he doesn't seem like the type to just fall in love instantly and neither does Mina lol. Can't wait to see what he does next and when Mina finds out the truth.

Can you imagine the pain Prince Nuada would've felt if he went through with killing her? I take it from his reactions to yelling at Mina and being a complete ass to her it caused him physical pain. I like that once he figured out the truth he was in disbelief and then confused, angry, more confused, even angrier, and finally repulsed by the sounds of it. I would've been so upset with Mina if she hadn't called the cops after the whole attack. Anyone with common sense would report it. She's realistic.

Another interesting chapter. I liked Nuada's reaction and ramblings towards her. Lol.

Is the mark like the red string of fate kind of thing? Instead of a red string that connects soul mates it's a Fae mark? Either way, your story is awesome. You write it very well. Can't wait for the next chapter

Is Binx an ordinary cat or is he supernatural? That'd be cool! How romantic of Nuada to straddle his soulmate and hold a knife to her throat? NOT. Nuada what are you doing?! Please update I have to see what happens!

"And she was gong to be killed right in front of her cat" Hahah that cracked me up because cats are definitely the type to just sit by and watch while a dog would've done something to protect you. You write Mina and Lucy so well. They read natural and similar to their characters in the show. I have some major suspicions about this Jonathan guy. He's moving to New York City for "business" that just happens to be after the Tooth fairy attack?

After some thought I think I would have acted the same if I were in Mina's situation up on the roof. How can you down talk someone you don't know and not make them feel more threatened by you being there? I would say she successfully snuck up on Nuada but the part where he checked his wrist might have given her away. He must have suspected her that way. I'm curious to learn more about what the wrist markings mean. Love this update.

I like Mina. Scold me for this or not but I picture her and Lucy looking like the characters from the show Dracula that was on NBC since you said you used names of the characters from Strokers 'Dracula' book. Have you seen the original movie or watched the somewhat recent TV show? I love soulmate AUs too and I can't wait to read more of this. Very promising start!
