Interesting scene and chapter!

1) Love Tali. Always have.

2) Because, as it turned out, Spectres didn't get paid. At all. They were expected to buy all their own equipment, which had made for a very awkward surprise when the Master Chief had discovered that.

* Spectres have the councils full support. Just not any money or ammunition or... ffs.

3) and a slightly-overweight Lieutenant with a beard that could make a Brute Chieftain think about his life choices.

* I loved this line.

4) "Oh, have you have GOT to be - Spartan one-one-seven! You are not going to sit out eighteen hours by cryonically freezing yourself!"

* Also great.

5) Okay I've found the first thing about this story that surprisingly got under my skin. I actually like Centorea and thought she might not be in the story. If so it would be later with John needing crew.

I know Johnson is supposed to be funny and all but for me he's a complete and utter miss. I find him annoying at best and rather he wasnt even a thing in the story.

Now that shes actually in the story and teaming up with Johnson of all people I'm actually surprised just how much I'm really really annoyed by the fact.

With a character I wish wasnt even in the damn story being paired off with her actually took a big chunk of my desire to read this story even though I've found it really good up to this point.

I havent finished the chapter yet because I'm debating going to another story to continue reading and de aided to place my comment now since I already typed the 4 previous comment parts above.

Ch.13.

Meh, shouldnt of commented before finishing the chapter. Figures after doubt building up for chapters that when I stop and post he gets 3 of the 4 in his new ship comingneith him a few paragraphs later. Though 1 as a prisoner, for now.

Starting to be more sure about being bated with the whole relationship thing. This is simply a Halo/Mass Effect story with Liminals tossed in. Not that it isnt good though but I still think the relationship bot was a bait and theres not going to be such a thing.

The mentions of not so serious and dark later were just that. That the parts with colonies being wiped off the map and descriptions of the families being killed or enslaved will finally stop with the war part over.

That just leaves the build up to the Reapers though so a temp pause but the interactions with others aside from Cortana are hardly there. Just following the adjusted storyline path.

Hardly a downtime for getting to know any of them. With a future garenteed to have more warfare and less downtime. Ah well.

I'm disappoints with Rachnera though. I figured she would end up part of a group but I expected her to be against the racist or specist human groups. Not humanity in fricken general. Hes the hero of all of them rather than just humans.

And here I am hoping Yonna doesn't show up later as an unintentional or intentional drug addict.

Considering the repeated mention that things are not meant to be so harsh and it's just temporary is think that the decision to have the murderous scumbag racists butchering innocents would've been dealt with before now. Rather than be an issue now in such an abysmally deadly time with colony after colony being exterminated already such an enemy within isnt needed for grim events that the author says is for character development?

I'm a bit annoyed they didnt have more footage or point out that they were strapping explosives to anyone and everyone dead or alive which switched the classification to treating them as Covenant.

That war crimes were nothing to them and they had no boundaries or morals. But it wasn't brought up.

I forgot to mention this in my previous review, but I absolutely adore how you bring up how deadly Monster Girls can be. They can be really frightening with their abilities and strengths when push comes to shove and you've done a marvelous job showcasing that. With them, attacking any human world would be a nightmare since they would be fighting alongside other humans and liminals.

Although, I am curious. How do all female races like lamia reproduce on only liminal worlds? Do they go back to the ways they had before the integration process or something?

Either way, really outstanding work with their prowess in battle and diplomacy. Humanity really gets a boost with them around. XD

I have finally caught up and oh my gosh this has been one of the best multi-crossover rides I've ever been on, if not the best. Usually these types of stories never get finished or are a mess but you've somehow made it work. Let's see:

Mass Effect
Halo
FGO (don't think I didn't miss who you were referring to with the Goddess of the Dead)
and even Girlz und Panzer

And yet it all works. You madlad you! XD I absolutely love it. You've done a great job building the characters and their relationships and I love all the storylines. (I'm guessing the goddess is the one from MG Quest since it would make Johnson's travels on that world make sense.) I honestly can't help but adore it all. My only hope is that this story does take the time for more lewd/harem antics during the downtime. Perhaps more so after the events of Mass Effect 1 are over and before 2.

I am happy that Chief got one of the Monster Girl Quest characters on his team. A mad doctor is always welcome. Chrome needs more screentime honestly.
Love what you're doing with Rachnera. She's my favorite girl from Monster Musume.

I do wonder about the species changes of Miia and Draco. I get Draco more since full on Dragons are tougher and larger then dragonnewts, but dunno. Miia's constrictor species is stronger then Echidna's but eh. Nothing major. Still good. Still lovable Miia.

I am a bit sad that Cerea has gotten so little screentime though. She's appeared very little and hasn't gotten a moment to shine yet. Hopefully she does in the future because I do love her.

Can't wait for Chief's harem to grow. Apart from the girls with him now, I'm guessing Shepard is going to fall for him as well. Wonder who else will fall for the hero of humanity. Hopefully Cortanna can help. (Given her intentions with that are hilarious and honestly. kinda hope there is more of it especially since its in the summary.)

Overall, really good. I hope it's not the last time we see Ereshkigal. The Underworld Goddess deserves a hero too.

I just gotta say, I love the idea of Elder Devil Shepard going all 'ara ara' on the poor Chief.

So... now I’m curious are you going to add in the librarian? Also man, I am not a fan of magic bullshit, what a wonderful cheap way to put master cheif in his place. Then again this is feeling a lot similar to the didact from halo 4.

Wonderful story so far. I love all the detail that has gone into this. I enjoy your lore excerpts and you've done the main POV's very well. I'm eager to see more of your work.

Oh hell, Johnson found himself in an erogame world. Still curious about the power of Rank that lets him weild a cigar as a weapon and headbutt krogans with impunity, is he ever going to reveal the secrets of his badassery?

I think you would be kind of interesting if at some point the Master Chief realizes his position and standing carries a lot of weight and asks Cortana to use her hacking skills to have Blue Team put into a location that is close by and he then conscript them to his old team. After all who's gonna stop him?

Another thing. Can't the Master Chief have his spartan armor enchanted? Since magic is a thing.
