This fic is amazing. Brutal war that no one will feel truly good about, and yet that special flavor of mutual respect between armies is happening.
One thing I would like to see is perhaps a female human leaving an impression on the Turians and living to tell the tale.

was enjoying the story until this chapterthe humans have a chance to show themselves in a positive light and demand the council explain their unprovoked attack in humsn space. Instead they act like immature teenagers singing songs and shouting insults. No wonder the council think humans are primatives. Why do so many First Contact fanfic writers portray humans as drunk klingons?
