Okay. I cannot stress enough how much I freaking love this fic. I’ll be honest and say I had some reservations at the start but now I cannot even believe I had any doubt. Your writing style is so unique and amazing and descriptive, and there’s something else about it that I can’t quite place that makes this legit one of the best fics I have ever read. The storyline is superb and you thought of everything, every little detail is top notch. Reading how they broke the poor boy broke me a little inside too. And I absolutely love the nonlinear style of this chapter. It gives a sense of chaos, disorientation and desperation that just fit perfectly into the story. Hey, just found your story, it's fantastic so far! I hope you're well, and, like many others I'm sure, I can't wait for another chapter :) Although I realise that they must take a while to write, as they're so well constructed and written, so I suppose I'll have to wait some more! Have fun writing (hopefully less gloomy stuff, I really can't wait for Harry to destroy Strucker in a very bloody way). I'm generally not a violent person, but right now I really want to see entrails flying. Specifically Hydra entrails. Also, I'm hoping we'll learn more about some of Harry's friends' fate. Luna maybe? I'm hoping there is at least one Weasley left, but hey, I'll be happy if I just learn what happened to them in the end xD

Wow I am so hooked on this story! The characters are beautifully developed and the story arc is well done. Very rarely do I find a fanfiction that has so few mistakes and is so long - I am eagerly awaiting the next update and cannot wait to see what happens with the pairings (if there are any).

Time travel is always so damn confusing. Here, Death is the same being in the past and future. He sort of exists beyond time, right? Well, the Heart has the power to make someone his equal, meaning the sliver of the Heart is his equal as well. Meaning, it should exist beyond time as well, right? Harry going to the past doesn’t seem like it could solve anything.

For one, how do the Hollows even exist in the past? Harry is walking around in the past having absorbed the Heart, yet the Hollows still exist? Does that mean someone else could become Deaths equal? That doesn’t make sense at all. If that were the case, thenat least theoreticallyan infinite number of beings could become Deaths equal (person one becomes deaths equal, person one goes to the past, person one allows a person two to gather the hollows. In this case, two people will have united the Heart, becoming deaths equal). It seems like the hollows would need to lose their power (become inert) in all timelines after Harry absorbed them, as the Heart itself, like Death, should exist beyond time. Even alternate realities wouldn’t make sense: if this were an alternate reality with a different Heart than what Harry has absorbed, it should have a different Death as well, but it doesn’t.

Secondly, shouldn’t the united Heart within Harry being destroying the Magic world, just like in his timeline? Going back in time solves nothing: the Heart is still upset about balance being broken and would seek to correct it. Essentially, going back in time just jumpstarts the apocalypse by 60 years.
