When you have to fix something in a story, you gotta do what you have to do!

While sad as it may be to have to restart the whole story I understand your reason to do so.
Still though I am very excited for the rewrite. And I have no doubt that it'll be even better.

I can't help but say I am really disappointed it had to come to this I was really certain this was going to happen even so I had at least a glimmer of hope that you would see through this but unfortunately my worst nightmare had come true again. Especially with this long wait just and making your decision to what it was going to be I really should have seen this coming.

Even so I thank you Jay for at least all your hard work until now this fanfic was the reason I followed you and favored you and always looked up to your work every time you made your upload. I will wish you luck in your rewrite but my time a following you at least stop till now it really sucks.

Maybe in the future I'll keep a lookout see how you do if it ever happens but I'm having very low expectations especially with your other projects on the side and your update time hasn't been too good either. But in the end thanks for everything good luck hope you're writing will still give other readers a good time.

If you feel like you need to rewrite it go for it, I'm looking forward to see this new and improved version of the story. I just hope that the pairing between Jou and Nami can still remain

Can I make a suggestion for when they reunite after timeskip have jou and Nami get married and they get Luffy to do it being a captain so after they go underwater but before they reach Fishman island

Please don’t reboot this story! It’s fine to me!

sincerely in my opinion I love his story and certainly love jou, I think he has become an incredible character and for me he is just as important as the others.

But the fanfic is yours and if you feel that you need to change something in it I think you should follow your instincts, it's not worth just doing something that the person feels is not right and end up becoming a burden to you.

Whatever your decision I will support you, I would just like you, if I could still leave the old version of the fic posted, is a part that I would like to reread.

I know you said Jou wouldn't get a devil fruit but as I was reading I had a really cool idea very loosely based on another oc character from a one piece fan fiction where the character gets the Metal-metal fruit and is based on gajeel from fairy tail so here's my idea let's say hypothetically he did get a devil fruit he could get the Chain-chain fruit the abilities would kinda mimic Kushinas chakra chains from Naruto and he could still use his original chains as well it could give him a defensive boost and an attack boost just seemed like a cool idea
