Even with this fic being the most favourited OC fanfic in the LOK fanfic archive, I was still pretty hesitant to start since the premise seemed a bit iffy but I’m gladdened by how wrong I was. This has chapter is surprisingly good in setting up the story with the only problem that I noticed is that you said “providences” rather than what i assume was meant to be “provinces”

After even 2 hundred year, if he could not create tech or something and do anything other than fight then he is shit. When you live that long you must be bored to no end after time, not to mention that you cant fight all the time or train someone, you try to look other intersting ways, imean i would do that. I know I'm kinda late, but I still want to thank you for the creation of the Ageless. It is one of the (very) few quality stories I've found since, well, ever. I hope you still plan on seeing the story through the rest of Legend of Korra. Anyway, the story is absolutely amazing!

You cannot say that your OC is a nobody and there's nothing special about him if he became a commander of the Guard within a few years, helped train the first generation of Kyoshi Warriors and was their "unofficial" commander, fathered a child with Avatar Kyoshi, was good friends with Avatar Roku, fought the Fire Nation for a 100 years, joined the Order of the White Lotus and helped liberate Ba Sing Se, was good friends with Aang and Zuko and helped them restore peace and establish Republic City.

For fuck's sake, being frigging immortal doesn't actually seem like such a big deal compared to half the shit your OC before the start of the story. This a pretty bad case of "hey, remember the new guy?".

i... cant say im happy that Ryou is blind now. Its cool that he's pulling off a daredevil, but hell, still. The fortuneteller telling him of his eventual death? That feels like a foreshadowing. Like you're going to kill him off at the end of the story...All the legend of korra oc inserts that i read end up killing them off at the end...well, the ones that dont simply never finish.
