True, Sayaka would benefit from getting integrated to the main trio's entourage. It'd be interesting to see what kind of dynamic she would have with the other three - her relationship with Homura in particular could be intriguing, especially in a world where she apparently never met Madoka (as far as we know so far, at least)

Other than that... not much to say about the chapter, I have to admit. The fight with superbear was pretty nice, but even then, it was hard to really doubt the outcome. Ultimately, Grimm in the original series still have some trouble being truly intimidating - with even the 'boss' fights being dispatched under two episodes, tops - so it's not entirely surprising they might not be a huge source of tension in this fic either. As antagonists, they work more as supporting cast than main threat. Still, it was pretty neat to see Kyoko and Mami in action and actually have to put in some work.

This probably one of the best xovers I've seen in the Puella Magi fandom, and I have no idea why it isn't higher on the fav sort.

Well, I guess it might be because it isn't an actual two distinct worlds cross and more of a mixing one world into another cross. But it's a very well done mix, especially with all of this worldbuilding you've done.

I love what you've done with Homura, she very much feels like post-anime/pre-Rebellion Homura that doesn't have the additional baggage of Madoka not existing anymore and doubting her own memories. I mean Madoka's obviously dead here (kinda? that Soul Gem shenanigans she seems to have pulled kinda makes it murky), but she was definitely more concrete a here than she was for Homura at the anime's ending.

My only gripe with this fic right now is Sayaka's plotline. It feels so disconnected with the Homura, Kyouko, and Mami's plotline that it feels like I'm reading 2 separate stories instead of 1 plot. Sayaka's barely interacted with the other 3. I'm sure you were going to tie her in better at some point, but as it is right now it just feels... floaty? Extra padding?

Anyway, this was worth the wait. Kyubey continues to be... confusing, in the sense that so far his actions are still unquestionable - despite his creepy side - yet anyone in the fandom is conditioned to expect the worst from him. We're watching you, not!bunnycat! On the other hand, it's nice to see Homura able to help people by means other than killing things; I'm sure Madoka approves.

Madoka approves of Kyomura too, apparently. Kyouko and Homura always had an interesting dynamic in canon, and this story is expending on it quite nicely. Homura seems to enjoy trolling Kyouko, yet still seem to see her as the reliable one, while in turn Kyouko is the one most suited to roll with Homura's usual demeanour. I don't think a long term relationship is in the cards for them - I don't think that's even what they want - but it was a rather tender moment. God knows those girls need something good to happen to them from time to time.

Thank you for updating this story, as it allowed me to reread the whole story and fall in love with it all over again.

Until now I had the headcanon that Homura held a part of Madoka's consciousness, but with what happened this chapter that would either be insanely awkward or... somewhat romantic, actually.

It's rather disappointing that Mami and Kyoko's relationship is unhealthy. I was rooting for them. Actually I'm still rooting for them to have a threesome with Homura. Happiness all around!

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop though. This is still a PMMM fic and someone is gonna become a Puella Magi soon. My bet is on Kyoko. And I really want to know what role Homura plays in the whole system.

I am very intrigued by this story ... Madoka's soul is inside Homura? or maybe in the jewel that she wears in her left-handed glove ... but if so, why not try to give Madoka an artificial body? mmm, please continue soon, I'm dying to know more about this story.

Thank you for clarifying what this story is about (and the interactions between characters as well) while I did hope to see the reactions/interactions between PMM and RWBY, all I want see in this fic now is just the characters because they all seem so fleshed out and human!
Concerning characterization between Sayaka and Hitomi etc.. I don’t believe that they’re out of character at all, as you have shown and stated before that this is YOUR fiction and your plot/headchild and as such it’s pretty obvious that a lot of characters would be altered to fit the plot. With Sayaka I like to imagine that she’s more mature (though still inexperienced) than in the anime and less prone to being pressured by outside influence or forces, not to mention that her world view doesn’t seem to be so black and white now

In short I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your fic and understand that this is YOURS and you are free to make changes, whether to the plot or to characters, and that I hope to be able to read more of your writing soon

Really solid chapter. Its was cool seeing things from Sayaka's perspective.

I wouldn't have minded this being a ship fic but i can live with it being a non-romance fic. I am curious with the Kyoko/Mami ship though but I prefer the Homu/Mado ship. All the same this is my 3rd time reading this now (chapter 9 will be read a 2nd time shortly and I am understanding things in this fic little by little especially around Homura (whom is my favorite character).

Though it is tempting me to write a RWBY fanfic of my own.
