As for the happy ending... It depends how you look at things what is happy, no? I imagine they would be pulled towards eachother, and likely end up in rough, violent sexual situation... then go back to fighting eachother, while Izaya plots his evil schemes that Shizuo hates, before they repeat the pattern ad nautium. *Chuckles* It would certantly make both of them feel alive, and make Izaya miserably happy, and Shizuo adictivly exhausted... It sounds like paradise to me, but then again, I am entirely to alike to Izaya for it to be healthy. *Smiles wryly*

But it is ultimatly your story. So do whatever, as long as you keep this amazing story comming! *Grins*

Love the visual imagery in this chapter, got to admit you had my hooked on this story from chapter 1. Descriptions of cigarette smoke is excellent, really convinces me of its addictiveness and of course, of shizuo's addiction to it and Izaya. Please keep it coming, really curious as to where this is going! :-)
