All the stories over again and this story should have been the finale not that monstrosity they gave us I'm still upset with the way they ended the finale but I have a feeling that they did that on purpose so they could come back with a new version of scorpion with a lot of action

I have read this story from start to finish many, many times, but the last chapter is my favorite. It is the perfect culmination to several chapters of pleasantly frustrating build up (which translates to 2 years of it on the show!) You have taken such care with all the tender, self-conscious, loving details...and yes, the hand holding was some delicious, tear-inducing icing on a seriously decadent cake. This might be my very favorite of your stories and I thank you very much for writing and sharing it.

I can completely see him being this careful and tender and attentive to her. And I love how you reversed the roles and had her get too overwhelmed.
