/I can see why people are annoyed by the "speeches" and such that has Naruto pontificating to everyone from the Hokage to Hinata. However, I also understand the desire to do so after dealing with the frustration of canon and fanon Narutos that aren't able to express themselves that well, and therefore loses opportunities.

/That's why there are a lot of readers who love scenes like that.

/I actually kinda liked the parentheses thing you had going on. The only problem was the some awkward phrasing which could have been solved by spending more time on composing those sentences. I found it funny.

/I can be a bit on a snob when it comes to unique or creative writing techniques. I think that they make the reading more enjoyable and fun, most of the time. The people that don't enjoy them are usually just too stupid to appreciate them.

/It sounds mean, but I don't think I've ever gotten a headache from thinking. The fact that people act like that's a normal or remotely okay thing to happen worries me.

/So, don't give up on creative ways of writing. There is an unnamed movement to have all writings be homogeneous to appeal to the lowest common denominator. As if there is only one right or proper way to write a story, and all others are in error. Some really think that way, and others are simply too intellectually lazy to shift gears to read something in a differnt way.

I don't understand why people so often SI Naruto only to turn him into a pretentious showoff jerk. Especially since you merged him with original Naruto. The new personality is atrocious. Any actually smart individual would be pretty wary about showing sudden massive changes in basic personality as a high profile person like Naruto in a ninja village.
