If you go about agents infiltrating goverments and pushing them into certain direction, then you should have send them into past deeper then what you did, as getting into goverment, let alone into leading possitions isnt something you can get in half a year. Nobody would vote somebody they never heard of. There was no internet, so getting people know somebody, let alow get them vote is long term matter you cant do just in short ammount of time. Best way is to create ideology, supporting united mankind. It owuld clash with Communism, nazi's and others, but its more feasible.

WWII was oversimplified so much... Unite kingdom allowing itself to be annexed? Did you perhaprs forgot, that it wasnt democratic nation, but actual Empire, with commonwealth (Cannada included, so they woudlnt go with UEG)? They woudlnt let go of their power, just becasue UEG asked nicely. States cant be defined as good or bad, no nation was good or bad during any war. All nations involved in WWII did some warcrimes one way or another. And humans in charge of them wont let go of their power, so you either have to get majority in all countries that gets annexed to be agents themself, or it will not work.

UEG wining over Soviet Union, is feasible with if millions of soldiers would have died for it, but it would be only military one. Communism wouldnt just cease to exist because they lost war. Just look at our human society now, and how many idiots are turning back to Communism? Everybody with functional brain can tell, that Communism will never work, but we still have them over the world.

Axis are too stupid, sorry but you did actions they did in our history, withouth corelation to world happening in your story. When you make something like UEG, that goes annexing states like germany, what you get definetely isnt "lets get happily anexed". In contrary, there would be uplift in many nations along the lines: "Its look like, there is new Nazi germany in North America!". I am sorry, but creation of UEG would create counter force. Be it axis, or other nations, especialy those who would fear getting annexed, like South American countries for example.

As for technology.. If you start throwing More modern technology like jet fighters, why hadnt Axis came out with their own? I mean if they actualy cared, they could have jet fighters by the time of Battle over britain in actual history, so its logical that they would get them out once they would see them in use by allies. Sorry to say, but germany was ahead in many technologis over allies.
Beside throwing more modern stuff just would make UEG more threat to other nations, then Germany itself. And we shoudlnt forget consequences of technology ahead of its time either.

So why was the UNSC and ONI changed to Galactic Human Alliance and Cerberus Initiative Network?

I get the whole any human civilization in Mass Effect Universe MUST be named Something Alliance and have men in black 3 Headed Dog but what is the in-universe reason why Hood, Cole, Williams, and what ever other leaders decide to abandon the name that has been in use for around 400 years. There must be a reason right?

Be careful with oversimplifying politics. Countries get peacefully annexed because of a few agents in their governments? The millions of citizens who probably have a strong national identity just accept that? That's not how humans work. Desire for independence and flat out nationalism would be a thing, especially during this time. The timeframe is also too short. 1951 is imho decades too early for worldwide unification. Then, inner logic: If a few agents can do that much, why not send them to Germany and Japan to stop the war that killed millions of humans (thus making their would be descendants unavailable in the Covenant War) in the first place? The introduction of advanced tech does not need war as an excuse.
What's up with "Russia"? There was no independent state named "Russia" at the time. What today is the Russian Federation was part of the Soviet Union. When writing about WWII this is relevant since the Soviet Union was one of the most important participants. They btw got offered help by the western allies and accepted it (Lend Lease Act).
8 million people, quickly growing population, yadda yadda yadda... All nice and fine but keep an eye on your timeline. These kinds of fic usually have impossible population growth rates because the authors can't do basic math. Try to avoid that and keep it realistic. In doubt, let more time pass. You have 600 years to play with, use them.

In the end those are just suggestions. You are the author. Don't listen to people who tell you "You can do what you want, just don't make them join the Citadel blablabla". Ignore them. You can do what you want, period.

While this is interesting, there's a few errors. The Infinity wasn't designed as a warship. It's a carrier, and originally would store crypods for millions of refugees, that would escape. After the war they were replaced with 10 Frigates. And the Infinity had energy shields equal or possibly superior to the CAS class, one of the largest ships, and the UNSC had a handful of shielded ships by the battle of earth. While they probably wouldn't have the Huragok from Onyx to upgrade the slipspace drive and other systems, I can't see them removing the very systems that would protect it. The UNSC had plenty of Covenant ships, but none could survive a fight against a Covenant fleet. The Infinity is fast, durable and powerful enough to ensure humanities survival. If its been converted to a live ship, that would take a lot of resources and time, especially when you need less space and resources for crypods. Not even CSO supercarriers carry millions, though they could. Also its a bit weird how Hood suddenly decided to change the UNSCs name and replace ONI. That seems like a bad idea, especially for an organisation that's on its last legs.
