A really good story. If you are searching for ideas, something which would be intersting would be to have the ashen one interact with the firekeeper, when he gives her the soul of the ancient fire keeper soul and the eyes, then have them and the other characters evolve through and after the "end of fire" ending and, eventualy, through the age of ancients and to a new age of fire. Hollowing being caused by the flame, to which humanity is linked, the age of dark would cancel it, and the world would slowly rebuild itself around the companions. Or you could cut through the age of dark and have the champion and the fire keeper departing on a journey to find the "embers left by lords past" that she's able to see in the distance, to give birth to a new flame, having the companions willing to follow interact along the way. You could also cover what happens in the DLC, the interactions with the painter. You could also have him wake up in new game plus, or you coud cover the road companions such as Siegward and Anri.

Writing during exams, that's ballsy lol. Not a bad chapter, it's always interesting to read how a npc might view the player character. Look forward to the next update.

As if the scar from the soul of cinder would be more painful than the nameless kings one. Nameless King should've been the final boss haha. Suggestions could just be the ashen one talking to various people in the shrine

This is sweet. I'm genuinely enjoying its simplicity. As for ideas, a chat with Yuria after beating Friede in the painted world maybe? Of the NPCs, I can't pick a favorite but that moment I find very touching seeing a small light in the dark.
