A very strong finish to a very emotional story. The flash-forwards served well in the wrap-up. I'm looking forward to Gladiator.

A very well rounded chapter. To be honest, I think you could probably pull off a few more chapters. As heavy as the subject matter is, however, I'll wait to see what you have in store. As ever your writing is well done. This story is personal to me as my wife and I have two daughters of our own and we are trying our hardest to keep them from repeating our mistakes.

Military experience makes for a unique POV. There are a few things I miss from being enlisted, but I don't regret leaving when I did. Those experiences, though, helped me become who I am today.
The real question is, can the first generation keep the second from repeating the same mistakes.
