I must say I was amused when I read her names was going to be Koori. I know it means "ice" or "hail" in Japanese (good choice by the way), I'm an Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal) and in certain areas of Australia we have different names for our group, and Koori (Koorie - depending on preference) is one of them. Murri is another.
