I suggest you read manga 11. Its the only time Jou's dad is shown. I love the fic its trunly a good point. I'm more of a Kuru Eruna anti-genocide myself. But this is nicely done.

Joey's mom is pretty thin, really short hair with thick waves, and gray. Which is weird, because on the show, Joey is 14 or 15, but his mom looks almost old enough to be his grandma oo;
