I love Clipped Wings and I love this tooooooo! So this one's modern day, huh? Crazy, I can't imagine Garp as a FBI agent, it's kind of like imagining him as a CP9 member. He's always been less a government agent and more a free floating police officer who by some miracle never had his badge revoked despite some of his more unlawful tendencies.
Still, loving the Dadan, loving the uncomfortable Ace, loving the cuddly Luffy and uncertain Sabo, just lovin it all!

I think I got diabetes from reading this but I don't regret it I think I actually cried a bit when Sabo realized Ace came to get him
I empathized with Sabo when he felt that choke hold feeling of loneliness strangled him I felt like I couldn't breathe through the despair of loneliness and sadness
But I laughed hard when Ace said Luffy ate part of the topiary cause that's so Luffy to do

So much fluff! Just loved it! Love the trio, love Dadan, love even Garp who doesn't even show up in the chapter but would protect them! Love cheeky Ace showing up like a flower at Sabo's window and love the big hug he got from Sabo! Love how worried and hateful Ace was when he saw that Sabo got hurt from his father

The Luffy moments were great too! Love how he launched himself at Sabo and how he wouldn't let go, then slept on his brother while drooling on him... so cute! Love the last Sabo and Ace conversation when Ace admitted he usually is the one to have to be reassured ! And the final with Dadan crying was awesome !

I completely underestimated that. When you said you wanted to share some ASL fluff, I was all for it. I am in desperate need of fluff in my life these days so I was excited. But that was not what I was expecting! In the best way possible! I honestly didn’t think you could surprise me anymore considering how long I’ve known you now but I stand corrected! This is absolutely perfect and the fact it’s been inspired by Clipped Wings completely blindsided me. You didn’t mention that, you sneaky people!

Every interaction between the characters was just perfectly brilliant and you even squeezed in Dadan who we all know is the best! Her reaction to the brother’s reunion my reaction. And you even ship-teased! ASL; check. Dadan; check. Fluff; check. Ship-teasing; double-check! This really does have everything I love to read in a fic xD

I absolutely love this, more than words can say, and I adore the pair of you for doing this for me! It really has brought a little bit of joy and light back after a particularly dark week and I cannot begin to articulate how grateful I am to the both of you and I really wish I could glomp you! Glomp each other for me instead!
