Enjoying this new to me, story its great to read an author that focused on Ed my favorite! I do hope someday after things are resolved favorably, that you can return someday to writing as you are/were so good at it.

I really enjoyed this story so much that instead of reviewing individual chapters, I am doing it as a whole. You did a wonderful job of tying the original story into yours. All of the characters feel right. I was never a fan of SOSF, but I love the characters as you portray them, especially the contrasts you set up between Mike and the the chief. Write when you can. I promise that I will read it eagerly.

Aw! Yes, little Amy is indeed a Royal child just like all children are :-) Very nice of the team to organize the raffles and poker game to help fund raise for the baby. Will there be more to this story?

An exciting chapter with Steve and Ed doing what James Bond does best - jumping onto moving trains! And the two guys did it rather well! Now on to another matter...though I'm glad that Julie has realized she has much to live for and she won't be alone either.

Oh my, I hope no more harm will come to Julia and her unborn baby. Such bad luck that they jumped on the freight train and Steve and Ed will now have quite the chase ahead of them.

That was fast thinking on Ed's part!

Thank goodness for Ed and Steve or else Julie would have died. I enjoyed the subtle touches of humor with Steve charming the receptionist...or is it the other way around? In any case, he still managed to secure a date...even a brief coffee one ;-)
