This is beautiful. I never quite understood why Taki did see those particular memories of the Miyamizu family, and to tell the truth, switching it with your version wouldn't have taken away that much from the movie.

A lovely piece, especially of Taki's desperation and subsequent relief. I'll probably come back to this again to admire your word forms.
