Not to ruin your parade but I find the part where they were getting kidnapped to be ridiculous. I mean, Serena and the others could have called out their pokemon while team Rocket were doing their stupid intro. But no, they have to listen to the whole tirade and let themselves be kidnapped. I'm not mad at you, but I'm a guy who likes logic and it would be logical to use Team Rocket's intro to take them out when they're busy. I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm flaming you but its just me ranting. No hate on your work but I love it, this was just one part that I didn't like.

This chapter was a rewrite of the episode with serena plugged into it... if anything you've made ash dumber to not even recognize a pokemon properly that he was melee range to man handle. Yes still salty about the misleading description. Writting is still okay...

Not gonna lie... non canon pokemon and you throw out the pikachu while showing he technically had an eevee that's kinda fucking disappointing and a troll tag to put in the description... smarter ash tag and already showing the same level of intelligence from the start and building his personality as brash. I know this is a completed story part and I have nothing against this kind of ash but your tags and descriptions are wrong which is really grating. Thinking im going to read one thing and it's not what's on the box. On the hand your writing itself is pretty good though drake does feel a bit stiff and forced. I like the settup so far even if I'm annoyed as hell about the click bait description lie.

I always thought ash got a leftover pick, or oak hated him (as a professer he should know the amount of new trainers per year and get the same number of proper starters) since starters have 3 evolutions with increasing power, yet pikachu only has one with an evolution stone.

DARNITALL! i was so certain you were gonna have serena catch the pink one so ash and his butterfree would never be apart again in a heartbreaking scene! but i guess this was one of the growing up moments ash has in the anime so...UGH

Few typos in this chapter, but overall it is keeping me wanting to read more. Looking forward to seeing how things go!

I'm typically an Ash and Misty shipper, but I'm really enjoying the story and looking forward to seeing it evolve. I know you've already finished this story so not much I can add except I look forward to reading more of your work. Good job.
