It's very interesting to see the contrast between their celebrations in Calormane and Archenland, and especially nice to see Cor's fortunate escape in this light.

This is so heartwarming! I love the idea of Cor and Aravis' romance (re)written through their Christmases and how they've come to know each other and that celebration better (I grinned reading about Corin and the mistletoe!). And the ending is very lovely! It's a wonderful story arc!

Oh wow, I really love how well you imitated C.S. Lewis here! This was beautifully done, I really love the theory that they got to "celebrate" Christmas while fleeing Calormen. Such a cool idea! I really love Cor/Aravis so much, and this is so amazing to read! I couldn't get over the image in my mind of Corin trying to get them to kiss! Haha, it reminds me of the episode of Full House where Kimmy Gibbler says "So kiss . . . kiss . . . kiss!"

But when Cor knelt down and Aravis laughed, that was lovely, and I just sat gazing at my screen, taking the moment in! Such a lovely one-shot!

What a novel idea for a Christmas story! I liked it very much...I like everything with Cor and Aravis, to tell the truth...and Corin being the one to get them under the mistletoe is perfect. I like the idea that, according to Calormene tradition, Cor was 'destined' to propose to Aravis. :)
