I want Ezra to fight back, but I want Kanan to be there with him. I just can't see Ezra with Maul, and to be honest I don't want to. Anyway, I hope you update real soon!

Wow! What an ending! I hope you continue with a sequel of this story I really want to read about Ezra actually falling to the dark side in a slow burn type manner.

Thank you so much for writing about the amazingly dark and complicated mess of a bond that is Darth Maul and Ezra. I feel like the show does't have enough of those moments, doesn't fully take advantage of the conflicting natures of Ezra's teaching in the light and dark side of the force. This story does that so SO well. Canonically, the force is portrayed as strictly dichotomized, in that you are either light or dark, and nothing in the middle: there are no good wielders of the dark side of the force, and there are often (though not always) no bad wielders of the light side of the force. Rebels breaks that rules with Ezra occasionally using Sith techniques without (extreme) consequence, but from what I'm seeing this story is restoring that sacred dichotomy. As Yoda said, 'If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will'. Ezra started down the dark path the minute he willingly used the dark side of the force with Maul's aid; thank you for writing a story that explores the serious consequences that should have come from that decision in canon. The writing is excellent, though I'd love longer chapters, and I'm excited to see what black magic Maul is conjuring on Dathomir. Please keep this amazing story going!

P.S. I was surprised that Kanan was so quick to sever his connection with Ezra. It felt like he was abandoning him. Perhaps he did this because Kanan knows he can easily reestablish the bond if he succeeds in rescuing his lost student?

The story is good, the drama and emotions from the characters is some of the best parts from this story

F*ck's sake man (pardon my French). That's a focal point in my current story, where Ezra betrays someone (he had no choice tho) and they can't trust him anymore. Why do great minds have to think alike?

I don't actually mind, I enjoy this series. Keep it up.
