Wow, seeing Victor weeping and his crystal-like tears in Episode 12 would not have made me come up with such a story! This is a very original piece of work! Associating mermen and humans was a good idea. It's really good work. The way you write really captures the suffering that the merman in the introduction takes and conveys the heart-warming moments between Victor as a merman and Yuuri perfectly. Also, I really love your humour! Continue your great work!

it's beautiful... don't change anything about this tale. i love the way it ended. The merman and his saviour lived happily ever after (with occasional banters and extremely-occasional pearly-tears that fell down the eyes of both parties)...

Anyway, on with the actual review. I love the tone and mood of this story, how Yuuri remains our little anxious ball of fluff, and merman!viktor (I assume) seems coy at first, but warms up to others easily, much like in canon, which is really great!

And that intro. Oh god that intro. It's a painful thing to imagine, but it captures the reader's interest instantly! And I love that very much. I like how you gave vague descriptions about who the tortured merperson was, gives the readers time to digest and guess who this tortured soul is. Poor thing! D:

I love this story already, the way you write it is completely magical, and I hope to see more updates from this wonderful, promising piece.
