It's been over a year, but I'm still holding out hope that this story will update again. Null and Silvally are some of my favorite gen 7 Pokémon, and a story based around them is something I was/am interested in. Please continue this someday!

I love this story so far

I love your story so far, Type Null and Silvally are some of my favorite Pokemon to come out of Alola. So reading some stories about them is awesome. By the way, an idea for a future chapter is to meet up with the original Mewtwo. Since both Type Null and Mewtwo where created as weapons, and Mewtwo hated humans. It would be interesting to see their interactions. Another idea is for Alpha to run in to the Genesect Hive from the Genesect Movie. I'm not sure how you'd pull off either with where you're going with the story but it could be interesting. I was actually planning on something similar with a Pokemon story I'm writing though rather then focus on just Type Null its got some of the focus on a trainer as well. Anyway love the story and I hope to see more soon of it soon.

It was interesting getting the perspective of the one who designed Silvally in the first place. I would think though that they at least drew some samples/inspiration from multiple species of pokemon as a template instead of starting purely from scratch, seeing how cobbled-together Type:Full/Silvally looks.

I disagree with you on Castform only being purely instinct-driven, I think they are fully functional pokemon, especially seeing as they apparently have fully integrated themselves into Alola's ecosystem, but that's just my own beliefs.

One small mistake I noticed, Jamie says they recorded 2 types of Ultra Beast, and yet he goes on to describe 3 (Nihilego, Xurkitree, and Kartana), but other than that, I didn't see anything else wrong with the chapter.

Anyways, good luck with your other stories, and eagerly awaiting when you come back to this story.

That cliffhanger makes me super pumped for the next chapter! Honestly, Sinnoh is my favorite region and I can't wait to see Alpha explore a whole different culture and region.

I'm confused, how is Alpha talking in the beginning of this chapter? I thought he was supposed to be mute due to his mask and all. You didn't change anything in the previous chapter did you? Or did I miss something?
Anyways, interesting that we are headed to Sinnoh of all places. I imagine it would be quite a long journey though, seeing as Sinnoh is implied to lie quite far north in the Pokemon world. I'm interested on what you'll do with the plot when we get there.

My only real criticism of the chapter would be perhaps the whole Maile City/Garden section felt a little choppy in flow? I don't know, maybe it's just me reading through it too quickly, but that's my initial feeling at least.

Your accents and mannerisms for all the pokemon around Alpha are spot on. (Especially Crabrawler)
As for writing a mute character, you did it wonderfully. I was able to follow every part despite Alpha's general lack of understanding of the outside world (how does he know what beaches are?) except what I'm assuming to be the Altar of the Sunne. And I though Rimbombee was a cutiefly, maybe add that it's wearing a scarf?
I hope Alpha will figure out a way to communicate too because otherwise, it seems like the plot stagnates here. But I trust you'll make sure everything works out.

Sorry to hear that you haven't been getting as many reviews as you want. I can understand how it's frustrating that you get a lack of feedback. I typically am the type of person to just sit back and enjoy a story these days, but I'll put more effort into leaving reviews for this story if that helps any.

As for the content itself, I enjoyed the chapter a lot. It was interesting to see Alpha's interactions with other pokemon, and I think you did well working with a mute character. If you make the Ribombee and the Alolan Ninetales recurring characters, like you seem to be doing, it would be nice to see Alpha gradually begin to get used to the outside world and possibly make some friends. I am curious where this story will go, and you have done well to keep my interest so far.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but yeah, checking on the in-game models, the mask that Type: Null wears doesn't have a spot for a mouth opening. I had always assumed that there was a hole on the bottom for feeding purposes, but no, it's completely solid. Makes me wonder how Gladion took care of his until it could break free of the mask.

Exploring the map in this chapter is good, and I hope we see more of it. It's always interesting to see from the perspective of a Pokémon, because they see the land and other creatures much more vividly than most people in Pokémon can. Also, a mute Type: Null and a Ribombee duo would make a great spinoff, just saying XD

Definitely humans. I don't think that Prime or the Arther Foundation would let him go so easily. I really look forward to new chapters, even if they are short. It has a really original idea, which is sometimes hard to find on this site, and I appreciate that.

First, congrats on getting to backstory finished, it's a fic in its own way and was fun, but now comes the part where we really get to see the journey. You really did, however, write it well up until this point. Really you should be patting yourself on the back.
Next, I want to thank you for the quality of your writing, my catching up here has been part of my effort to get back into my own writing groove after a too-long hiatus.
And lastly, I hope you update soon, even if you have a lot of others, I've really been enjoying reading (even f longer chapters wouldn't kill)

Ths is definitely your best chapter yet.
Really loving the developments as they come, and your character integration is flawless, you really bring out the known characters as they were potrayed in the games.
Your fight scene was fine, the analytics of Alpha are different from most pokemon, who tend to have lower inteligence, but thats part of his sytheticity (synthetic-ness?)
Really loving your idea for the RKS system as an AI, thats brilliant and I cant wait to see what you do with it.
All and all its hard to remind myself that this is only the beginning of the journey, and I cant wait for the rest of the story to unfold!
