I have never seen a bonding fic between these two before, most of the time pidge is alway so mean to him, and I don't think that fits her character, she's assy, but not down right mean, plus she's known lance for a long time too. So I really like this. Its super cute and very well written.

Sweet. I can't decide if Lance's original premise in seeking her out is in character, but it's really nice to see them bonding.

While you say Pidge doesn't talk about her problems aloud, I ironically actually have the opposite headcanon, because of the way she rambled to Shiro when they were searching for her lion.

The last line is nice, but seems to kind of come out of nowhere, though I think I know what connection you were trying to dreaw. There could be something more to connect it to the rest.
