Fortunately, Season 6 seems to already be planting seeds of this in other characters. Most of Team RWBY already seems to be questioning their trust in Ozpin, so we'll see how that develops moving forward

This was a beautiful story. I'm straight so I don't really know how people in the LGBTQ community feel so this provided some insight. My friends and classmates do treat being gay as a joke, jokes I have laughed along to but recently I've relized that is could be offensive. I've over heard one of my friends say that she likes girls(I might have misheard of misunderstand) and she said she has mentioned this to her nother who is completly against this idea and I know that it's not my bussniess but I want to say to any of my friends that no matter what you identify as, I'm here for as long as you need me to be. This goes to anyone reading this.
