This is a very inspiring oneshot! Honestly people keep comparing my stuff to 'Little Moments', but yours is much closer (and you had the good sense to quit while you're ahead and keep it a beautiful oneshot).

hahaha It was actually after I watched the "Logan" trailer with this song that I had the idea to write a Bwen fanfic based on it.
The song from the other songfic, "How It Ends", I found in a Spider-Carnage tribute video on youtube ("Spider-Carnage Tribute HD").

I liked how Ben didn't want Gwen to leave his life. (sorry) but I think they're best friends until the end, platonically. of course, I loved hearing how Gwen didn't think she'd ever fall for Kevin. that was before she fell in love with him, before she fell in love with the better man he became (oops).

I've enjoyed your uses of Eye Guy throughout various stories. creative and intriguing! I imagine younger Ben would be too curious not to use that power.

I thought that was a great basis for this story. dealing with Ben's PTSD, even though it was more shipper orentiated. despite him being a hero, despite how well he managed it, despite using the Omnitrix so effectively, he couldn't have come out of that summer unscathed. Ben went through so much, and it was good for a talented writer like you to explore that.

Love the psychological tension of this story, starting off with a nightmare, then the issue of trust and being honest w/his parents. Poor Gwen almost being killed so many times- it's no wonder he's having nightmares.

The psychologist was interesting to bring into this. I like that she had some good advice.
Nice use of needing Gwen's help as a way to move the story forward. And a great finish, filled with moving thoughts and emotion. Bravo.

I could really feel for Ben with his nightmares and I understand why he couldn’t go to his parents. I was almost going to say something about, how did Elizabeth know it was a girl he was dreaming about, but glad to see that was a guess on her part. When Gwen got him to agree to do ‘anything’ I was concerned. I was glad to see her ‘anything’ as something that would really help him instead of being something vindictive that the smirk implied. This made for a very sweet moment between the two of them.

PS: I agree with you, I wouldn’t want to see the Joker or Carnage turn good. This was a good story.

It's been a long time since I saw this show, but I like this fanfic. Ben and Gwen both seem in character, and I liked the plot idea

Finally they admitted their friendships towards each other, I mean I know they're family, cousins at that but it was nice to hear Ben finally admitting that he cherished her friendship.
And even better to know that they both share the same feelings and dreams to a certain extent, they both care more than they would like to admit.

I thought this was a cute little one shot that stayed true to the original show that I know and love. The original story line was the best after that I lost interest, I'm a fan of this though :)

Great work! I had the same thoughts about AF and the other sequel series. They are alternate realities not the timeline of the original series.

That was really good. I liked it. It felt very heartfelt and in character. I like the fact that Ben told her how he felt and that she was the one to find out about his nightmares. Nice work man
