Reviews for How Your Garden Grows
Buttler chapter 1 . 9/3/2017
This is the kind of story I like, it makes sense in how it stays true to the character in the story. This seems legit canon.

I liked how Kalus still cared for them, but detested them at the same time. Man, I cringed when Glyn started talking to Kalus. She had enough at that point and I could really understand her frustration with it all.

My niece and nephew were playing this game several days ago because I told them they would enjoy it, and they did. One of them started playing by themselves after the other got bored and entered the story mode. It brought me back to understanding why I enjoyed it so much, and the vast amount of vibrant colors and such. I looked up stories and found this one.

This was a good read on a character you rarely see in the game.

Cryptic-Cosmos chapter 1 . 4/10/2017
Okay, so I think this deserves a review. I've loved playing Kameo: Elements of Power ever since I was a little girl. And even now, more grown up, I still love the game. I've gotten back to playing it after years of abandoning it and I can see why I loved the game so much, and I can even better appreciate it now that I'm older.

Anyway, it's very nice to read something for the game for once. Even nicer still to see this was written somewhat "recently". Kameo hardly has a fandom and so it's hard to find any fanfiction for it. And there's hardly any fanfiction for Kameo here in the archive, pretty much the only place you can find Kameo fanfiction besides on DeviantArt. So... it's kind of relieving to know I'm not the only who still remembers this lovely game and still likes it.

I need to quit rambling. This oneshot is incredibly interesting and actually makes me feel bad for Kalus. I've never cared that much for Kalus. Never took any interest in her. But this fic has made me feel rather bad for her, and it makes Kalus' treachery all the more tragic. It also makes Kalus more of a sympathetic character. And I love reading stories, oneshots, drabbles, etc that feature a villain and make them somehow sympathetic, or even more sympathetic than they may already be.

Simply put; I like this a lot. I enjoyed reading this very much. This oneshot is quite the little gem, and I wish it had other reviews besides just mine. I guess that's to be somewhat expected, though, in a fandom that's pretty much a dead fandom and barely even exists. Not many people will read fanfics for Kameo anymore, I think. Not many remember the game most likely.

Thank you sincerely for taking the time to write this and publish it. This was a very interesting read. :)
