That aside, since Harry seems to be changing some things, I hope he buys the Vanishing Cabinet from Borgin and Burke's and keeps it at the Dursleys' house. If he manages to fix the one in the Room of Requirement, he'll be able to go there every summer to practice magic without getting a letter from the Ministry about underage magic.

The first thing that an author that suddenly decided to write a time travel story should ask himself boils down to this: what will I do differently?

Right now if I were to guess I'd say you have a nice little plan of Harry going through hogw relatively close to what he did in cannon, but this time making the right decisions and helping the right people, all the while fighting the returned DE to keep things interesting, but ultimately Harry succeeding and reaching an almost equal future, but slightly better. Am I right?

You write nicely and grammatically tight, but the story you want to write is simply boring. It would be boring if it was the first of the genre, and it's boring now after a thousand like it.

If you want to really make it interesting you need more than to surprise us, you must surprise yourself. Make twists and turns you wouldn't even imagine could happen. Fortune favors the bold, and so do reviewers.

No plot is too crazy, no twist is too original, no pairing is too scandalous.

Don't just write Harry Potter again. Destroy it and make it your own.
