I honestly thought it was cruel that the show took away all the work Marco's body went through for 16 years. Personally I think Moon, River, Angie, and Raphael should at least see the effects of Heckapoo's world on Star and Marco. If not at least keep some of those of looks like a few muscles, abs, and Marco's scar. Though at least your fic would motivate Star to try and get Marco from Jackie if you do a multi-chapter Starco sequel. I mean she spent sixteen years looking for him to help him because she couldn't imagine life for any of them without him.
