I have no idea why tv writers have such a hard time keeping a timeline if their characters age. But there is no way that Lena is written as a little younger than Kara. Lena is written as a sophisticated and mature and powerful woman who has been running Luthor Corp since Lex was jailed. Its abviously a writers error. But even using cannon 4yr old can be 4yr and 11 months. 20 yrs ago can be interpreted as 20 yrs and 11 months. Lena can still be just shy of 26. At least that gets us a little closer to 30ish which is where most people perceive the character. Alex's age is all over the place depending on who wrote whichever episode. The only thing we know for certain is that Kara was still 24 in s1 ep 9 where Cat interrogated her and Kara just had an earth birthday. Anyhow, I choose to interpret this rather than just ignore the obvious writing mistake. I have a very hard time believing Lena is at all, younger than baby face Danvers. Especially given their real life age difference. Oops too long.

I cant wait until Alex and Clark start their custody battle for our space puppy. Pls don't take too long to update.
