Loved this - Sam in the wintry river was wonderfully angsty, and I loved the forest spirit.

I really enjoyed this story. The idea that a forest spirit would help them is cool and feels both organic to the story but supernatural enough to fit Sam and Dean's lives. I felt that you also walked the fine line between schmoop and brotherly love extremely well. Do overly dramatic soliloquies or crying, just the kind of Sam and Dean behaviour we recognize. Very well done.

Nice to read a straightforward h/c fic again, and I really liked the magical elk. Close enough to a moose. :) Nice detail and brotherly stuff without dragging things out.

I really loved this! Especially the random elk and that they both just kind of go with it in the end. Stanger things have happened right?
And the h/c was wonderfully done :)

Wow. I very much love your stories but this one in particular really hit the spot. I always feel that for all the good and the bad of the show that they seem to have lost one of the most basic and important aspects we had in the first five seasons: hope. Hope that there was someone out there looking out for them, hope that they weren't on their own with everything. Even in their darkest and worst moments, we always had that sense and it's been ripped out of the show in the worst possible way. You have restored some of that with this story. Bambi's dad saves the day, LOL! Loved it!

Really really enjoyed this story. It was fun, a bit mystical, just a really fun read. Loved it.
