Pity Erchirion is a hypocrite. It was interesting how he tried to dissuade Eomer from Lothiriel, saw he couldn't, and started talkimg about appropriate behaviour. How the words could even get out of his mouth shows how false he is, considering his behaviour.

Hey, maybe Lisswyn married the guy and that's why she left everyone for the whole day.

Lisswyn would be the best to convince her she will be just fine. They are close, and Lisswyn knows better than others how the tides can turn and how quickly one love dies and hunger for another grows.

Well, this shapes up to be an older maternal figure comes to approve of a young girl as the one her near son will marry. If such a figure must exist, it would be somewhat original if she did not realise the good heart of a young princess, and just mildly tolerated her, at best. Though the insults to their faces were a nice touch.

Aaand I'm all caught up! Rather perfect timing, since my wait for the next chapter will be rather appropriate in simulating their distance from one another. I really love stories set in Rohan so it's quite sad to leave that setting. Not that that should keep me from looking forward to the next chapter though!
A small confusion: I thought all of the Eosibling's mother's gold jewlery was promised to Eowyn's dowry in conference with the council several chapters ago. But it seemed as though in this chapter Éomer was still contemplating it among the options for a farewell gift to Lothí- and ended up choosing a gold piece. Maybe I misunderstood though.

Oof. I'm currently long distance with my partner and looking ahead to such a long absence is...not fun. Especially with such strict reins on being able to say goodbye properly. And at least we have Skype and discord these days! Good luck to these two. The good news is, this means Eowyns and Faramirs separation is finally nearing it's end! This chapter was amazing! I can do nothing but gush. Éomer's little impression of a steaming tea kettle was just such a joy. I also really really appreciated how much time was dedicated to Lothíriel and Eowyn bonding. This isn't a situation pleasing to either of them, and it feels like it had also been a while since they've been able to spend much time together. I'm excited and nervous to see what this new party will bring! Thank you for another wonderful chapter!

I thought the hug was perfect. Make out scenes are good and well, but the sort of intimacy via hugging and comfort is a different sort - at least as important as passion. Also Duilin is a grouchy old sweetheart.

So many things in this chapter! First thank the valar for Eowyn for nipping a misunderstanding between Éomer and Lothí in the bud before it could become a huge drawn out ~thing~. Second, wow Erchirion got off very light in my humble opinion faced with Éomer after nearly causing his sister to lose faith in the latter. I was expecting Éomer to make quite a bit more of an *unhappy ox* impression. Third, Eothain is in top form. A round of applause for this new father who is matchmaking harder than all the sisters, wives, and mothers combined. And cloaks! A cloak for everyone!
