I adored every bit of it, I laughed, cried and it has brought me so much joy at reading it. Thank you for such a well written fic and for contributing to the IR fandom. Yay more silly friend antics. I love me some Shiba family and of course Isshin would be the one to help break up the mess that Ichigo gets into. Ishida was always so preceptive and I know Chad of all people would know how Ichigo feels about Rukia. I used to ship Nemu and Ishida in the beginning but since I knew she was basically "made" and then they had no more interaction then I just forgot about it. Nice chapter. :)

Good chapter, I love how even through all the mess they still manage to act like kids and have a good time. I can totally see Rukia getting on to them about it too. The part of Kyoraku being mellow because of Ukitake being gone broke my heart a bit. Those two have been my favorites for as long as I can remember. I still remember being super sad when I read that chapter of him :c. And ugh I hate when there is misunderstanding in fics! but I know its only to progress the story lol.

That was the end battle we deserved! They way you wrote it just screams all that IR is about, their bond and how in sync they are with one another. The part of him holding her close and telling her to slowly thaw out is so intimate, makes my heart go DOKI DOKi :D. Their playful banter is so them and I love it. I like that you write him be aware of how she has affected him and his growing feelings for her as well. I think that since he was a young when they met it would be hard to come to the realization of the feelings but with the timeskip and all it was more than evident about how he felt towards her. I also love the fact that you included the bit about Urahara mentioning them like in the manga. I was so excited to find out what he could possibly mean but was sadly let down at the end.

Its so hard to read how Ichigo despairs. My poor boy has definitely suffered enough! I thinks its such a Rukia was of thinking that she wouldn't mind dying if it meant she was useful in some way. I love your way of portraying the emotion in all of this.

Interesting chapter! Poor Ichigo having ptsd over the war but its nice to know he only calms down with Rukia. I'm alwasys a fan of Aizen, aside from the sucky ending that was 686 I hated that we were left with so many more questions than answers. about what happened to him and so many others. I also like that you incorporated the Hogyoku since it was made to be such a big deal but only got left forgotten like so many other things.

Just found your ff after 686. OMG! Thankyou so much for writing this beautiful ff.. The story 10 times more reasonable than the fucking 686. You just made my day.

I was really hoping Kurotsuchi died in the manga. Why the fuck would a depraved character like him be left alive but a kind hearted soul like Ukitake die? Seriously I wanna fucking slap Kubo.

I love the twins' relationship with Rukia. She's the perfect combination of both girls. Tomboyish and bad ass but also girly and maternal.

Uryuu getting Ichigo to admit his decision without even trying: classic and priceless. :)

I do like the idea of Isshin opening up a clinic in Rukongai. And even though I've already read the draft, the reiatsu band enabling Ichigo to go back to the Living World to live a normal life still made me nervous...

The image of Rukia almost landing on Byakuya's head cracked me up just like the first time I read it.

I still wish there was a way to keep Ukitake from not being dead. Such a damn waste...

I've always felt that since Ichigo defeated Byakuya, he's known about Inoue's feelings for him. But he's never been interested in her. He wasn't when he first saw her the night Sora died and he still wasn't till the very fucking end. And yes, she's too much like Yuzu.

As annoying as she is, I do like it when Inoue confesses to Ichigo. It shows character development, something that she seriously lacked to the very end of the manga. *smh* At least she wasn't relentless here. I've read fics where she just doesn't give up pursuing Ichigo.

The ending of the chapter was very very awkward and tense. More so than the Inoue's confession.

Honestly your battle scene made so much more sense than the bullshit we got from Kubo. I'm pretty sure EVERYONE expected Rukia to go to Ichigo instead of you-know-who. Kubo wasn't even fucking trying to make any motherfucking sense anymore.

So glad you included her peek-a-boo ass and the hot spring scene. Shwing! Very smooth of Ichigo how he covered up his blush.

Rukia really has been always a source of comfort and security for him, among other things. Oh the feels!

I really do think there was more to the Rukia/Hogyoku connection. Why her? Why not any of the previous shinigami stationed in Karakaru? Why not Isshin?

I will never understand why Ichigo's hollow didn't kill Ywach, a pure Quincy. And why, for goodness sake, was Ichigo paired up with someone who was a non-fighter and who pretty much turned out to be useless, to fight the final boss? Like, fucking seriously Kubo?!

One of the things that I hate about the Quincies: they fucking talk too much. On and on and on...
