Loved in this chapter the reference to Athos past as a Comte and that he still have problems to talk about his past.
Glad they have the Cardinal to help them now.
And such a sweet scene at the ending between Aramis and Athos. Aramis telling him that he will always be a Musketeer in his heart. Sigh. I really like their friendship. xx

Seriously, I really did enjoy the scene of Saint-Pol's final unmasking. I think throughout the story you really "nailed" the Cardinal. I've said this before of your dialog for the Musketeers. I think you really have a gift for capturing the "sound" of these characters whom we all know and love, and I envy you that gift. Thank you for your good work.
