I've followed a lot of your stories from the beginning and I don't really use my account on here anymore, but felt bad for lurking for so long when your stories have meant so much to me and provided countless hours of entertainment! I can't quite put into words what it is about this series that stands out to me more than some of the others, best guess is maybe the magic of both Buffy and Smallville/Chloe, shows and characters that are both associated with my childhood, and some of the first entries that got me really invested into sci-fi. But randomness about me aside, I've always been especially fond of this series and how you've woven together the stories of both! I think you always do an amazing job during your writing of handling a lot of characters. Especially when its concerning a blend of all these different fandoms, where I feel like you stay really true to the spirit of all of them while weaving together your unique and incredible stories. The individual characters all still feel very true to themselves even when you write them in situations very different then they are ever in. That you can take a character away from a lot of the mannerisms and qualities that they are known for and still have them feel like that character is really crazy! Which I feel is really amazing that your writing talent is that powerful!

This entry was such a pleasant surprise to the series, as I've loved watching Buffy and Giles relationship grow throughout the entirety of this. The evolution of this has been a really enjoyable ride and I like how its transitioned from being a re-imagining of Buffy Season one plus some new characters, to really taking on a life of its own as the series has progressed and grown. The last season and this interseason have been especially dynamic compared to where the series started. Since for me at least I had fallen in love with the Angel/Chloe romance the way I fell in love with Buffy/Angel once upon a time, and its really evolved so much over time in such interesting ways!

The standouts for me in this entry specifically were all the cute moments where the characters were paralleling their "usual" selves in this that were really well done and didn't ever come across as cheesy, which I think sometimes happens in alt!stories. I think it was also really nice to have something happier in tone and I liked the parallel of it ending and beginning centered around Buffy and Giles. I think that was really nice storytelling and it made me very anxious and curious as to what would be happening next. I also really enjoyed Joyce in this because I feel like you've really done her character justice between knowing her kids well enough to beat everyone in the bet and her being heartbroken over the idea of Dean having to go through what he did to save Cordelia. I thought that was all written phenomenally!

Dean and Chloe were also really charming in this and I think their method acting/writing was a really interesting dynamic that I can't wait to see more of to know how it will unfold. I'm also really curious about the "vagrant vamps" that seem to be in this one. You always do a good job at foreshadowing future conflicts in your stories with just enough information to really get me excited about whatever is going to be happening next in the story as it progresses even further.

I just really love this series and your work and just wanted to say thank you again for writing such amazing stories! And bringing so many different and amazing words to life through your writing. I think you're awesome and love everything you write! 3

Aw... Is it terrible to say that I love the setup on buffyville earth 2? I mean except for the absence of cordy and Sam, and the hints that things are not all peaches and cream and will eventually unravel... Still it's such a fun, cute little earth 2 setup.

So when's the new season starting? Don't tell me we have to wait till next October...
