I could follow up my previous comment on Sabine, seeing how she was ‘clinging to Ezraalmost hysterically’, likely in guilt for not being there, but I digress.

Instead, let’s focus on Kallus, the main character. Sucked back into Phoenix Drama, and later becoming a mentor for Iron Squad. I do wonder how far his story goes. It can’t simply end at mentor. More recently, he’ll be feeling as much guilt over Maul’s capture of Ezra as Sabine, seeing as how he was guarding the Ghost. That’ll be fun to deal with.

So, to sum up Sabine’s story:

She stays with her family on Krownest to help out until she gets word of Ezra being in danger. Despite being told by Hera to focus on the task at hand, Sabine abandons her people (since she’s still with the Spectres in Shatterpoint) and risks bringing the wrath of Thrawn on Krownest...all because Ezra was in danger.

Sure, the other Spectres in danger probably assisted the decision, but she basically gave everything up to assist in Ezra’s recovery, even though her presence wasn’t strictly necessary.

Methinks Ezra isn’t the only one with heart-eyes, hmmm?

How effective is the Force at shielding pain? We see the Ninth Sister use it to block out the pain of amputation via Cal Kestis’s lightsaber in Fallen Order, but abdominal surgery without pain meds? Keeping in mind Kanan can feel Ezra’s pain, it’s astonishing they’re functional.

I feel as if there’s a subtle Ezrabine moment here. Sabine finds out there was a complication, and immediately asks about Ezra. I may be reading too far into it, but I feel as if it works.

Does Yularen become the next Fulcrum? It’d certainly feel justified, after all the good he did for the Republic.

Presumably, this is the moment Maul hears him, which makes sense. Ezra would have probably called out to Vader himself if he thought the Sith Lord could help.

It was epic when Kallus was exposed as a rebel spy and Ezra could have been converted into a loyal imperial soldier
