I really love this story. I’m the only person on the planet for whom this is actually my favorite ship on the show, period (past and present included). Long term friendships that develop into a deep well of everlasting devotion are my favorite type of ships.

It is so difficult to find Alex/Meredith fic but even harder to find really good fic for them. And frankly this is one of the best I’ve read. It’s so in-character and realistic to them and I just love it. I’m actually catching up with Greys right now and this fits right into where I’m watching, which really nails home how well Alex/Meredith work together and have created this team effort with the kids and become a little family. I love it. Thanks so much for writing it!
