I was definitely not expecting Draco there, but as abrupt as it was, you somehow managed to integrate him perfectly in there without making it seem forced.
And, oh my god, how can I not like this when you have 3 of my favorite characters in just over 600 words? NO doubt about it.
The last paragraph was absolutely lovely, it captured the angst and the pain that Harry kept inside him perfectly, and it captured how Draco saw it perfectly. You can almost feel the grief in the story and it was touching.
