PaperFrames chapter 1 . 8/18/2017 I'm absolutely elated I found this story. For me, the AU was bittersweet. It gave me insight to the in love and reckless Olitz, but then pulled the rug out from underneath is by reminding us it was only just a dream. It did show us, though, that Olivia chose Fitz. She always chooses him, in the end, and I hope that that remains true with the end of scandal on the horizon. If not, the whole series will have been for nothing, in my book. But this...this is beautiful. And so well done. It provides such great context to a sparse universe and weLL within the shows political scope. You have Cyrus's voice down to a T, same with Leo's. I do hope you continue this eventually, it's everything. |

Clio1792 chapter 2 . 5/7/2017 All the voices-and all the logic-is wonderful here; the author gets Leo Bergen's cadence, and Cyrus's, just right; the logic of the unfortunate optics is well-done here; and then there are nice touches, like Fitz not caring whether Olivia presses her hair, and Olivia saying, "THAT is me being a tease..." And finally, it was good that, even at his most self-pitying and self-indulgent, Fitz knew Olivia had gone to see Cyrus. Fitz's ability to read people is surely his most endearing quality. The trouble with trying to start at the top is that after losing the shiniest prize, everything else seems loses luster. And yet, one wonders, what if Fitz had stepped back from another presidential race and tried, let us say, for the Senate? Or run again for Governor? Or sought some think tank position in an area that interested him? (Criminal justice, perhaps?) I was interested in the way that Olivia was distressed by Fitz's embrace of "The Grant Report," when Sally, after losing the presidency, decided that in "The Liberty Report," she had found her bully pulpit, and her métier...why was this not an option for Fitz? These are plot holes and inconsistencies for which the author is not responsible-but she does a good job, in this second chapter, of addressing a few of them. Nicely done, Clio1792 |
Ktss14 chapter 3 . 5/6/2017 Not sure what is happening with SFF. FB is also having problems but it seems the problem is FF . The updates are not being sent as an e-mail even though the favorite/follow buttons have been selected. This can become a problem as readers try to follow stories. |
Guest Lyn chapter 2 . 5/3/2017 This Olivia seems wimpy. Why go around begging others for help instead of doing what needs to be done. Now she's going to start believing the naysayers. |
trininads chapter 3 . 5/3/2017 Wow wow wow this update provided alot of context for dialog and/or build up not shown in that episode so thank you for that. For me it was combination of Olivia yet again trying to right some wrong she thinks is her fault instead of actually talking to Fitz about it and also her desire to have access to power/connections which i guess is understandable considering her field of work but i think its her guilt over her Defiance vote that has her guilt ridden which made her swallow her pride and go to Cyrus which then allowed him to gain easy access to mess w her head. Cant wait for the update Trininads |
