This paragraph, especially the setting of first seeing and using a Patronus seems like such a good prompt for other stories: The patronus was a reflection of the soul and Lily had seen hers in a dimly lit loo while protecting her friends from a fake dementor.

I loved how you depicted James, Peter, Remus, and Sirius' friendships, care for each other, and interactions. They had a depth I don't usually see in fics, especially Peter, who is usually demonized from the get-go.

The last paragraph was heartbreaking. Did Lily, Mary, and Marley ever make up?

The character of Professor Pidge is great! I liked how he started to show a little bit of how caring he could be even though he is in constant pain.

I loved this whole story but I especially loved your take on Mary's character. I never thought of the fact that Mary Macdonald could be Mary Cattermole from the 7th book. But you created a great story arc with her that I had never thought of and absolutely loved. This story is one of my favorite Lily/James fics I have read!

So good. This was a 3 am laugh so hard I'm going to wake up my parents and then you dropped that last chapter that made me about to cry. But honestly tho I actually laughed out loud, the most I have in months, reading this. Love the slow burn and Sirius' character, so accurate! Still think the ending is cruel, and what do you mean with it's canon?
