This was so amazingly written that I’m slightly concerned for you (the writer) with how realistic this is, I can see a real person reacting this way.

I like how it's posed like he's not in denial of male rape, just that admitting it can happen would be admitting that it had happened and he's spent so long trying to bury it that his only option is to outright refuse to listen to the topic.
I hope he is able to talk more about it with others and get as far passed it as possible.
Wally is a good friend and I'm glad he was able to catch on to the reason behind Dick's arguing.

OMG, this is the best rape/recovery story I have ever read. I love reading recovery stories but so many people don't seem to get it right, I mean everyone reacts differently but this is by far the most realistic version I have seen. And ps, Dick was right, if this was his family they would have interrogated him and she would be dead within a week

This is important. Because many many reasons.

I was looking for a fic which dealt with said incident, but kept finding ones which didn't delve into it in any detail. By that, I mean it felt like a side thing, and that the trauma wasn't real. However, you also delved into why Dick didn't "deal" right away, the denial that a woman can rape a woman, but touch is something he holds dear and that was used against him.

Great! I loved that you did this with Wally, just for the reasons Dick listed (because the Bat Family channels all other feelings in anger sooner or later). What you described about Dick's mental and physical state seemed absolutely real and plausible in the way he felt it and reasoned 'in' it. I love the outlook you've given Dick without being too 'healed' yet and I love your Wally. Because he is much smarter, more patient and understanding than you can see in his 'normal mode'.

Wow, this had a lot of depth and emotion and I think you handled it in a manner befitting the situation. This is a heavy subject and you didn't treat it lightly. Well done.

Awwww poor Dick. Grayson! Good job writer and wally! Now me and my jaybird going to kill us a few people slowly and one hurts me babies! Grrrrrr... That comic is so sad. It's easy tell that you put a lot of care and thoughtfulness into this story, and I can respect that.
