I read this a couple of weeks ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I have been looking for a well-written post BotW story, and this and other stories are doing a good job of satisfying me. Really enjoyed your continuation of the subtle romance between Zelda and Link; I hope you will continue to play matchmaker with my two favorite characters. The Yiga "problem" is a nice way to give the story some needed conflict (although I do not object to a peaceful theme for post BotW), but their power seems a little overkill. I personally abhor the Yiga, so seeing them get killed off will be thoroughly enjoyable. I would like to encourage you to continue, even if it is only for your own practice and my enjoyment. I would like to see more Link x Zelda as well as some focus on the other characters from BotW. Rebuilding Hyrule, fighting the Yiga, and exploring the vastness of Hyrule should keep Zelda and Link busy for a while. Thumbs up.

Very interesting so far and I would like to see more. There is one issue I noticed, though. Time seems to change more quickly than it should. You start out with Link and Zelda eating dinner (which seems to be forgotten rather fast while they talk), then their conversation ends as the sun rises. Were they really speaking all night and are not tired at all? Then after the Yiga attack, it's night again. I know the time moves fast in the game, but surely not in the story, right? XD

It's a good story, though. Please write more. :)

I am curious about your story. I like how you slowly introduced the plot and your characters (especially the Yiga Princess that I particulary liked). It was a really good first chapter! I love how you gave relief to the Yigas...

For a first chapter I have to say I'm already very invested and curious to see where this plot goes. I was kind of disappointed with the way the yiga clan was handled in botw, being a sort of threatening presence at first to being completely forgotten about, but here they seem so much more imposing.

it kinda almost sounds like Vaati has returned. i mean, it's assumed that he just couldn't die from the original four swords, so it's not much of a stretch that he couldn't die in four swords adventures
