Reviews for Harry Potter and Endless Possibilities
Shadastra chapter 22 . 6/1
Anyone else see a connection between Frisk trying to connect with the Slytherins and Firenze and Dubran trying to connect with Humans and Monsters? It'd be really cool if this got explored more.
Also, when I was reading the bit with the Quidditch cup, I had a striking thought; The big finale had to do with forgiving Chara. Moody is showing them spells called the unforgivables. NOT FORGIVABLE SPELLS. And Chara has most certainly murdered, and she's manipulated people akin to the imperius.
And then I immediately went. "Oh, SH*T!" and started getting all worried about if Chara would be OK. Really great story, keep it up! (Wow that was long)
Outasync chapter 16 . 4/23
I'm on a re-read, and only just noticed that sans uses normal capitalisation when speaking about Dr. Gaster. Nice touch!
Spellflame chapter 33 . 3/18
Awesome
Iris chapter 6 . 12/27/2019
You would not believe how much the idea of ‘sword, shield, or healer’ excited me, and I must admit I fangirled a little bit and squealed when you made each of them different. Absolutely adore this story, it’s amazing and so much fun to read.
Isangtao chapter 23 . 11/4/2019
This is the best chapter in the story.
Foalan21 chapter 2 . 4/25/2019
The scene where Asgore and Toriel come up with their on the spot battle plan is so good. You can practically see them as they do it.
Kayin Sparkle Dreemurr chapter 33 . 1/16/2019
This story was just as fantastic as the first one. I was admittedly a little confused at the beginning because the previous story had ended with them getting their letters, but then I caught on that you were working towards that.

I loved how things were handled for the Quidditch Cup- the Malfoy's being blindsided by Chara living was a great thing to see though I do think the lack of interaction between her and Draco was a bit of a missed opportunity.

Having the Dreemurr parents attacking the Death Eaters was just as brilliant to see and read, and I found myself really hoping that somehow the King and Queen would try to keep those muggles, or at least the child, from being obliviated.

I will admit, to some extent the decision to have things go through canonically is something I both absolutely love about this story (and the previous one) and yet at the same time find a part of me was, for a while there, a bit upset. But you fixed that by handling the Resets exactly as I was thinking you would! I was thinking to myself as I got closer to that part that "She's going to reset, she's going to reset and try to save Cedric!" and while a part of me was thinking you might actually show us such, telling it by having her recount it was much, MUCH more powerful. I picked up on it even as Dumbledore was preparing to ask, and I wanted to just hug Frisk then and there.

I think Harry and Snape really need an, especially with Frisk around to facilitate it, a heart to heart. Snape would be able to tell Harry about his mother at least, and I think that'd give a way for Harry to realize he's misunderstood SOME things about Snape. Was kind of surprised he didn't say anything about what Snape said during that final bit.

The Hogwarts challenge was also delightful to read by the way, ESPECIALLY the one where Frisk and her friends got the Gryffindor and Slytherin second years to join together for that challenge. I wonder if it and the one Quidditch challenge helped to change any minds among some.

And of course, the great thing was that the stuff with Sans was excellent! It broke things up and made things quite more exciting and interesting. In fact, my favorite was the one I was expecting to turn up eventually- a Genocide run Frisk/Chara. That Kurt got stabbed and nearly died was quite the exciting bit, and I especially loved how you pretty much implied that Flowey in fact still did have just a bit more of Asriel in him then the game sort of implies at times (I know some people feel his pleading there at the end is solely out of the determined desire to not die, rather than Asriel himself breaching the surface and managing to speak forth.

I am so deeply and gratefully looking forward to the next story. There is so much that can happen in the next one, and I admit, that I hope it diverges a bit more from canon, if nothing else as a big sign that a new element and some new playing pieces have been added to the game.

I'm curious how you'll handle things with Umbridge, who is such a toady sadistic bitch I almost want Asriel Dreemurr in God of Hyperdeath mode to tear into her, even if that would be wrong.

At any rate, thank you for crafting such an amazing universe. I actually like that you go out of your way to focus on Frisk and her friends time at Hogwarts, as some writers would try to share more about whats happening to Harry and the gang instead.
Kayin Sparkle Dreemurr chapter 12 . 1/15/2019
All I can say is ow. And that I'm really hating Cormac.
Kayin Sparkle Dreemurr chapter 6 . 1/15/2019
In some respects, I'm a bit sad she didn't end up in Slytherin, but that's more because, as the hat could have perhaps suggested to her, she could have used that thinking she has and her attachment to her siblings to try and change how things are thought of in Slytherin.

But the sword idea makes plenty of sense.

I do agree that Asriel going to Hufflepuff would also have made a fair bit of sense, but I think this is well suited to him as well. That said, I do hope that he'll get a chance to talk to and explain to Sprout why he didn't go to Hufflepuff.
Kayin Sparkle Dreemurr chapter 5 . 1/15/2019
"We're calling it Hopes and Dreams"

I see what you did there. That's evil :P
Kayin Sparkle Dreemurr chapter 3 . 1/15/2019
Methinks that was in fact the exception made by Dumbledore through Fudge. And I suspect given how the Dreemurr Royals reacted to things that perhaps in time more monsters might be allowed to learn as well. Though I find myself kind of wondering if the Dreemurrs might try teaching Chara and Frisk some of the Monster Magic as well.
Foalan21 chapter 33 . 1/4/2019
I see that you haven't lost your touch. I've been hooked from the start and am now going to start the third installment.
Queen Bovine chapter 33 . 11/17/2018
Okay. I just spent the last couple weeks plowing through this series. And I feel bad for not having reviewed before, but, honestly, I was too engrossed to really stop. These are so amazing! Where do I even begin? It's so rare to find such a fully-fleshed crossover that balance both worlds perfectly. Even though the HP characters seem to be following their general plot pretty faithfully, it's removed enough from the main characters to not be distracting or repetitive. I think it helps that the Dreemurr kids are in different years than Harry, so they can meet other people and have different experiences. I think that it's awesome you have multiple subplots going on that enrich the world and the characters, even if you feel like they don't always overlap perfectly with the main story. And your OCs are incredible! They're consistently written and feel like characters in their own right, and not just plot devices. And as someone who always struggles with naming, I totally commend how well their names fit them, and how memorable they are. Seriously, the alliteration with Kurt Kairos alone is so delightful. (Though after watching SU, "Opal" has a different feel to me, lol.)

I really like everybody's characterizations, and how you've got sympathetic sides to the mean characters (lol what Undertale story could have totally unsympathetic characters), as well as flaws and prejudices with the good guys. I was an absolute MESS when Asriel and Chara came back and it's so nice to have them both in the second part. I was uncertain about your choice on Chara's past life, but all my fears were laid to rest. One thing that did kind of bug me was reading Frisk and Chara as female, when I'm so used to they/them pronouns for the two, but I do consider it up to individual interpretation, since they're both kind of blank slates in the game. Also, I can understand that the Hogwarts system would be problematic for nonbinary characters. (So that's more a point of personal broken immersion than an actual issue.)

Through some of the story, I was inclined to criticize Frisk's almost, er, perfection? That out of everyone, it sometimes felt a bit unsatisfying that the main character would lack any obvious flaws. But that scene in Dumbledore's office in the chapter "Unsaved" was exactly what I was looking for. Frisk's difficulty in accepting the inevitable, because she's so used to being able to change things to fit her perfect ending, is something that I hope continues to plague her in the future (not that I want to see her hurt, but, y'know, character development). It would be good, I personally think, to let her make choices that don't go well, and not be able to fix the consequences through resetting.

Also, that scene in general was just incredible on a narrative level. In an Undertale story, the possibility of righting all wrongs is always kind of in the background, and addressing it in hindsight was such a great storytelling choice. I did notice you'd made a point of Frisk behaving a bit oddly beforehand, but there was so much going on that I (like her siblings, I guess) forgot up until her confession. It was quite impressive how many scenarios you came up with for Frisk to try, and how well you constructed failures for them. It was very thorough, and I can't actually think of any obvious options that were overlooked. It really made Barty Crouch's plan seem fully-formed, and less far-fetched than might be implied by the book alone. And I loved Dumbledore's point about how sometimes the enemy just plans better than the good guys. I made me step back and think about ludicrous-seeming plans in other pieces of fiction, and how just because we don't KNOW about any Plan Bs,Cs, Ds, etc., it doesn't mean they didn't actually exist. They just weren't necessary. Or maybe an earlier plan was thwarted and the plot just ended up following a back-up all along!

It's struck me now that you've portrayed resetting from different viewpoints now, from the above-mentioned hearsay of characters who only felt deja vu, to Frisk's quick jump to save Chara at the end of "the Underground's Savior," to Kurt's disorienting, inconsistent amnesia when he and Sans ended up in a Genocide timeline. It's pretty awesome that you can portray such different experiences of the same event!

In conclusion, I absolutely love this story and I can't wait to read more of it. I'll go review "Muggles Who Needed Magic," now!
MasterBrattan chapter 26 . 9/27/2018
Was Magorian even aware of the double standards he was going on about? He wants centaurs to be included in the magical community, but doesn't want to included with the likes of vampires and hags. Sheesh.
TaraSindar chapter 33 . 9/6/2018
I absolutely love this series!
