Well, things did end for the better, but that ending seems all too abrupt. I would have liked to see more about the Diary, more about the rebuilding to magical Britain, more about Harry and Hermione’s growing relationship.

Sad for me to say about a story I like, but it ended with a rather sour taste in my mouth.

Good chapter with a lot going on.

Interesting that the Killing Curse seems to be a cardiac arrest curse and that the defibrillator worked. Good to see adults picking things up from there, sensibly.

Good upshots of having Sirius taking up the Potter seats in the Wizengamot and the school board.

Dumbledore’s intervention with Snape looks to be too little, too late.

Good, workable chapter. I liked the interview, but thought it would be through Luna.

Good work with gown, robes and jewelry. Harry is right, Hermione should have something special for the Ball (it also being Christmas too).

The interlude with Padfoot was good.

I like that the contacts and clothing worked out. Personally, I’d like to see Neville with Luna, or Tracey, or even Daphne. He still needs his own wand and a Yule Ball date might be a catalyst in getting it.

There sees so little time and so much yet to do. The important part is that Harry has now told Sirius and most importantly Hermione about the Diary.

We’ll have to see what the fallout of the other two meetings are too.

The aftermath of the office visit enlightening. Hopefully they will both get more balance with both worlds with Padfoot’s help.

Good to know the school will know about Sirius’ innocence and be cool about it.

That was a really bad meeting for Dumbledore, to say nothing of Snape. The best thing that came out of it was freedom for Sirius. The next best thing was for the interest of Amelia Bones. Having her take such a direct interest in them is so important.

I think their interest in the parents’ wands seemed a bit odd.

Why can’t they get contacts, etc, through Gringotts? I bet they could come in and take him/them out to do this.

Otherwise, I really like getting the Twins in on this. They are good allies. I loved the way you are handling Ron and Ginny. Figuring a way to get Ron a broom without his feeling inferior/jealous is a good move. I hope Ginny can be let down easy and without doing something dumb.

It is time to get Luna and The Quibbler in on this.

This is the most important thing to happen so far, IMHO! These are two people who need and complete each other. It is wonderful that they really figured it out on their own too.

I like their planning and I hope the Quibbler helps. Getting to know Susan and Amelia is good too — it might not be my OTP, but I do have a jones for the Bones too, both of them!

I like the idea of Fudge out and Bones in in this story. Hopefully J&L can give them some background on Amelia. Hopefully Hermione starts reading the Diary too. I bet they’ll have reams. of good advice for her.

Glad Molly has no vault access — I don’t trust her concerning Ginny.

Couple of nits to pick:

Not ‘faze’, but ‘phase’
Again you use the possessive when you mean the plural: not ‘port key’s’ but ‘port keys’. ‘parents, not parent’s.

I wonder if Harry is truthful about becoming a doctor/healer I suspect it would suit him.

I think Harry should drop Divination and try to get into third year Ancient Runes. I’m sure that with Hermione’s help he could pass through and join her in fifth year’s class. It would surely help to bring them closer too.

I’d love to be a bug on the wall when Dumbledore confronts Crouch, Jr. and Sr. I hope we get some sort of an account!

Magical reared students are, I think, about to get a shocking wake up call on the capabilities of the non-magical world!

I like what Harry did to the Goblet — hopefully it will raise questions with the right people and some answers/actions will result.

I like the ways Harry operated, particularly at the gravesite. Something tells me that the Ritual isn’t going to happen this time, but if it does, it’ll be really interesting. That his parents’ wands work for him seems comforting somehow.

I think it would be great if he can figure a way to get Neville a wand that chooses him. Sadly, if might involve the breaking of Frank’s wand.

Now, THIS is what Harry had needed all along! I’m not certain how James and Lily have been able to communicate from the dead (It wold be wonderful if they aren’t dead, but can’t see Harry just yet!). This could well be the ‘Power he knows not’.

No matter, I like that the TiriWizard has bee thoroughly muck up and Harry has no chance of being Shanghaied into it.

At some point Hermione needs to be let in on things — this is Harmony (My OTP) after all.

One general comment — you really need a good beta. There are a lot of things like using the possessive construction for plurals and so forth that I for one find annoying.
