| Guest chapter 1 . 11/10/2017 I just reread this for the hundredth time, because reading "The M'ega Creation Sequence" make me want to reread this one. It gets funnier and funnier each time around! I think Roxanne is a genius, for how she handles the situation between Megamind and Carlos so smoothly, giving him something to hold so he won't be able to draw his gun. Also, it's so considerate and sweet of her trying to explain emotional truths to Megamind by using scientific metaphors, so that he can understand! You know what would be really great to read? A one-shot to "Tenderize" where Megamind and Roxanne go to the ocean to rehydrate the whale, and maybe they also take the time to have fun and swim around (Minion could be there, too, I bet he'd appreciate being able to swim freely in the ocean), some romantic fluff which shows their relationship progressing. Megamind might even share with Roxanne the story about how his people were created by the deity of the sea, and I'm so curious about what would her reaction be! |

I especially like Megamind's reaction when Roxanne says yes to him asking her on a date, first he's angry, then distrustful, then he resigns it to the improbability drive still being on. He just can't believe that Roxanne would actually want to spend time with him. The feelings he's going through feels really natural and eek this is so cute! Also love the Hitchhiker's Guide references. |
