I love, love, love Aloy's relationship with Avad. I've always shipped them together. Their dynamic in this fic is just perfect. It's clear how well they understand each other. Thank you so much for writing this!

This story was truly amazing. I've looked for a good Horizon fanfiction ever since I finished the game, and I'm glad I found this one. Keep up the good work, and trust me, your writing is ingenious.

Wow, Roadleader, this is some impressive writing, the kind I would be pleasantly surprised to find even a published novel. The personalities of the characters shine through so richly, not only in the way they interact but also in the ways they do normal, mechanical things, you can't help but be drawn into their thought and actions and the story as a whole. Your pacing is awesome, too, I love that even in such a calm, relaxed setting the story feels like it moves and it's never dry, slow, uneventful, or boring. It felt calm, and it felt smooth. You never had to add any unnecessary situational tension to make it interesting because it was already Interesting. You're doing great, Roadleader, and I'd love to read more stuff from you in the future. :)

The previous reviewer said exactly what I was thinking! This story is wonderful and I wish there was more but I'm glad you finished it. The characters, their mannerisms and dialogue were completely true to the source. I felt like this could be an extension at the end of the game. You left me wanting more but the conclusion was perfect. I'm totally team Aloy/Avad! This was a great way to show the start to their friendship and you did an excellent job of showing them getting to know each other without any kind of tension. Just two people getting to know each other and perhaps that will blossom into more.

Please do keep writing. Your English is phenomenal and you have a wonderful vocabulary. Several words I had to lookup and this is my first language! Thank you for this great story. I'm going to go reread it now. :)

well this has been a short but fun little ride. And no you don't write bad in English is my opinion. I really like this story. It wasn't super plot heavy neither super serious but I was a fun light hearted little adventure. It was nice get too see more sided of Avad's personalty not jut the formal side of him but also the more playful side, along with other stuff.

Hey! I don't really do reviews, to be honest I'm more of a phantom reader than anything else but after seeing your parting authors note I couldn't stop myself.

I loved this story very much. It's well written and your english is better than a lot of native english speakers believe me... I love it from beginning to end and I'll admit that I'm sad to see it go! The fact that you moved away from your native language to write in a foreign one is pretty damn impressive and admirable, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, because the simple act of trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone the way you have is incredible.
